    • Our Alishan Oolong Tea (2024 Prize Winner) directly came out of the Meishan Farmer's Association after the spring tea competition. It is not only about the high altitude and clean climate (between 1000-1500m) but this batch has much more to offer, especially for its extremely careful roasting control by our tea master.

This outstanding batch of Alishan Oolong Tea is truly our favourite due to its unique, subtle corn and barley aroma, and cane sugar notes throughout each steep. This is thanks to the precious roasting to a light-medium level, making it perfect for people who do not like any vegetal and grassy flavours of non-roasted teas.

The tea liquor is bright yellow and comes with a smooth and round texture with a noticeable “high mountain aroma”, a Taiwanese local term used to describe the special aroma in fresh and superior high-mountain teas. The depth of scents and rounded mouthfeel left us with a remarkable experience compared to any Alishan oolong teas we tried this year.

The owner also enjoyed this tea a lot with her mug (3g in 250ml-300ml mug during work ☺️)

    Behind This Tea

This Alishan oolong came from the core tea production region - Meishan a.k.a “The mountain of plums” in Mandarin, one of the regions producing the highest quality High-Mountain Oolongs among other townships.

Our tea are not only from single garden but also single cultivar: using the renowned cultivar Chin Shin oolong (青心烏龍). This cultivar is very suitable to grow in high altitude and lower temperature, also known for its delicate and soft fragrant while leaving a strong after sweetness and rounded mouthfeel.
