    Behind This Tea

Sijichun, meaning "Four Seasons Spring," is a relatively new tea variety in Taiwan, introduced in the early 1980s. It was developed in the Mingjian Township of Nantou County. This tea cultivar thrives in Taiwan's climate, allowing it to be harvested year-round, hence its name.

Sijichun plants grow quickly, enabling multiple harvests per year. The cultivar is hardy and resistant to many pests and diseases, making it a favorite among tea farmers and also keeping pestitide free of usage when growing Sijichun.

Tea master Lu Li-Chen brings his extensive expertise and passion for tea-making, especially involved in the premium and refined oolong tea roasting process. His meticulous processing techniques provide extra creamy and smoothness to every tea produced to ensure a signature and consistent taste and experiences of his works.
