This Alishan Milky Oolong Tea (prize winner) is light-medium roasted, and grown at altitudes above 1200 meters in the best High-Mountain tea production area in Alishan - Meishan area. The tea leaves benefit from the pristine environment of the Alishan region, offering a distinctive and refined flavour profile.

Unlike many Milky Oolongs rely on artificial additives, our tea's creamy fragrance is entirely natural, delivering a subtle yet rich taste that is unmatched.

This batch, sourced from the 2024 Spring Meishan tea competition, presents exquisite notes of flowers and milk, with a delicate, lingering sweetness that elevates every sip to a sublime indulgence. Its smooth, velvety texture promises a truly luxurious tea session.

Mouthfeel: mellow and silky texture


A natural premium Jin Xuan (milky) oolong is always very subtle for the buttery and milky sensation that rewards careful tasting. Its taste is often a bit lighter than Chin-Shin or Sijichun cultivars. It is not the same “milky oolongs” that refer to those with added aroma or are enhanced through flavour processing.

 

How to Brew

Gong Fu Cha style: 5g / 100ml , 100°C, white porcelain Gaiwan 

60sec / 50sec / 60sec / +20-30 sec each steep from the 4th steep

  • Teapot: Tea / water ratio 1:50, 100°C, brew for 6 mins
